Fluency Circles is an online group coaching program designed to improve conversation skills for intermediate learners (B1-C1*). It brings together small groups of students committed to improving their fluency and speaking confidence.

The program runs weekly on a rolling basis, welcoming new members as spots become available. Currently, two circles are running:

  • Circle 1: Chat sessions on Mondays 3 pm (Lisbon time)
  • Circle 2: Chat sessions on Fridays 9 am (Lisbon time)
  • Max 4 participants per circle

The Weekly Cycle

Each Circle follows a structured weekly cycle, enabling participants to strengthen their skills on all fronts: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

  1. Listen & Read: Participants receive weekly materials to practice their reading and listening skills.
  2. Write: Participants compose a text on the week’s topic, expressing their thoughts and ideas in writing.
  3. Feedback: I provide detailed corrections and suggestions on their texts, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and overall coherence.
  4. Chat Session: The circle meets online for a focused 60-minute session to discuss the week’s topic and participate in an open Q&A.

Flexible—participants can work on weekly tasks anytime, anywhere, and join chat sessions from any location with a stable internet connection

If a participant is unable to attend their Circle’s chat session on a specific date, they can use a flex token to skip that session without losing it from their total.

Participants who purchase the 4-wc bundle receive 1 flex token, while those who opt for the 8-wc bundle are provided with 2 flex tokens.

Upon joining, participants will receive all the practical details on how to access practice materials, submit writing tasks and join weekly chat sessions.
