Matilde: Exatamente! É fascinante, não é? Através dessa rede, uma árvore pode comunicar às suas amigas que, por exemplo, há uma praga que a está a atacar.

Miguel: Incrível! Dessa forma as outras árvores podem-se precaver.

Matilde: Sim, é isso. Através desta rede as árvores cooperam e protegem-se umas às outras.

Matilde: Exactly! It’s fascinating, isn’t it? Through this network, a tree can communicate to its friends that, for example, a pest is attacking it.

Miguel: Amazing! That way the other trees can take precautions.

Matilde: Yes, that’s right. Through this network the trees cooperate and protect each other.
