Divirto-me imenso a dançar

Há alguns meses comecei a aprender a dançar salsa. Sempre gostei de música latina, mas nunca tive coragem de ir a uma aula.

Um dia uma amiga minha convidou-me e decidi tentar.

No início senti-me um pouco ridículo. Mexia os pés de forma desajeitada e não conseguia seguir o ritmo da música.

Mas o professor é muito paciente e ajuda toda a gente. Agora já me sinto confortável com os passos básicos e consigo dançar uma música inteira sem me enganar muitas vezes.

Tenho aulas às quinta-feiras à noite e também costumo praticar um pouco em casa. É como aprender a falar uma língua: quanto mais prática, melhor.

Além de aprender a dançar, faço também novos amigos e divirto-me imenso. Dançar salsa dá-me energia e boa disposição.

A few months ago, I started learning to dance salsa. I’ve always liked Latin music, but I never had the courage to take a class.

One day, a friend of mine invited me, and I decided to give it a try.

At first, I felt a little ridiculous. I moved my feet awkwardly and couldn’t keep up with the rhythm of the music.

But the teacher is very patient and helps everyone. Now I feel comfortable with the basic steps and can dance an entire song without making too many mistakes.

I have classes on Thursday evenings and I also practice a little at home. It’s like learning a language: the more practice, the better.

In addition to learning to dance, I also make new friends and have a lot of fun. Dancing salsa gives me energy and puts me in a good mood.
