Juliana: Então, André, como foi a tua primeira semana de trabalho no restaurante?
André: Foi intensa, mas correu bem.
Juliana: Estavas nervoso?
André: Um bocado. No primeiro dia, não sabia bem onde estavam as coisas.
Juliana: E agora?
André: Agora já me oriento melhor. Tenho de cortar legumes, fazer molhos e manter a bancada limpa.
Juliana: O chefe é simpático?
André: É exigente, mas ajuda quando é preciso. Diz-me o que está bem e o que tenho de melhorar.
Juliana: E os colegas?
André: São fixes. Quando há muitos pedidos, ajudamo-nos uns aos outros.
Juliana: Boa! E vais continuar?
André: Então, ainda agora comecei!

Juliana: So, André, how was your first week working at the restaurant?
André: It was intense, but it went well.
Juliana: Were you nervous?
André: A little. On the first day, I didn’t really know where things were.
Juliana: And now?
André: Now I know my way around better. I have to cut vegetables, make sauces, and keep the counter clean.
Juliana: Is the boss nice?
André: He’s demanding, but he helps when needed. He tells me what’s good and what I need to improve.
Juliana: What about your coworkers?
André: They’re cool. When there are a lot of orders, we help each other out.
