O melhor é aceitar e tentar, talvez fazer uma adaptação, arranjar forma de encontrarmos um caminho sem termos que ficar dependentes de alterar essas circunstâncias, porque não vamos conseguir.

E por isso, já sabes, se estiveres numa situação dessas, não tentes parar
o vento com as mãos porque não vais conseguir. O vento vai sempre ganhar.

We say you can’t stop the wind with your hands when talking about a situation in which there’s not much you can do. You can’t control the situation.
