Pequim vai dar 3 milhões de euros à Agência das Nações Unidas de Assistência aos Refugiados palestinianos.

Anúncio do presidente chinês esta manhã na abertura do fórum, que junta líderes e diplomatas árabes em Pequim.

XI Jinping pede uma grande conferência de paz para resolver a guerra na Faixa de Gaza. Diz o presidente chinês que a solução de dois Estados não pode continuar a ser
acenada de forma arbitrária com a justiça ausente.

XI Jinping manifesta apoio a um Estado da Palestina independente e soberano. Mostra apoio também a que a Palestina se torne Estado membro de pleno direito das Nações Unidas.

Neste Fórum de Cooperação entre a China e os Estados Árabes, XI Jinping diz estar pronto a trabalhar pela paz e pela estabilidade a longo prazo na região.

E o presidente egípcio, que discursa nesta altura no Fórum, pede que seja evitada a deslocação forçada de palestinianos para outras zonas da Faixa de Gaza.
