O exército israelita invadiu a redação do canal de televisão Al-Jazira, em Ramallah,
na Cisjordânia.
Segundo o canal, vários soldados entraram armados no edifício da redação e entregaram uma ordem de fecho de 45 dias sem qualquer justificação.
O Al-Jazira fala em repressão e diz que as violações à liberdade de expressão têm escalado desde o início da guerra por parte de Israel.
Ora, o governo de Benjamin Netanyahu já tinha fechado a redação do canal em Jerusalém e agora na Cisjordânia.
Todos os funcionários, incluindo obviamente os jornalistas, foram obrigados também a sair do edifício.
Os jornalistas do Al-Jazira têm acompanhado de perto a situação em Gaza, muitas vezes em situações de risco.

Translation
The Israeli army raided the newsroom of the Al-Jazira television channel in Ramallah,
in the West Bank.
According to the channel, several soldiers entered the newsroom building armed and handed down a 45-day closure order without any justification.
Al-Jazira speaks of repression and says that Israel’s violations of freedom of expression have escalated since the beginning of the war.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s government had already closed the channel’s newsroom in Jerusalem and now in the West Bank.
All the staff, including journalists of course, have also been forced to leave the building.
Al-Jazira journalists have been following the situation in Gaza closely, often in risky situations.
