Um candidato presidencial americano ameaça violência se não vencer as eleições.

Esta semana estive em Londres, acompanho muito a política internacional, neste caso a norte-americana e estava a ver televisão à noite e vi Donald Trump fazer um discurso nos Estados Unidos em que disse esta frase, que acho uma coisa absolutamente gravíssima num candidato presidencial:

“If we don’t win there will be a blood bath in this country,” ou seja, se nós não ganharmos, haverá um banho de sangue no nosso país. Isto é um apelo à guerra civil. Isto é uma coisa gravíssima.

Quer dizer, um candidato a presidente dos Estados Unidos dizer isto num discurso. Quer dizer, isto é uma coisa… Eu nunca vi!

Nunca vi em nenhuma democracia, nenhum candidato, por mais radical que seja, usar este tipo de linguagem.

This week I was in London, I follow international politics a lot, in this case American politics, and I was watching TV in the evening and I saw Donald Trump giving a speech in the United States in which he said this sentence, which I think is an absolutely unacceptable thing for a presidential candidate to say:

“If we don’t win there will be a blood bath in this country”, in other words, if we don’t win, there will be a blood bath in our country. This is a call for civil war. This is very serious.

I mean, a candidate for president of the US who says this in a speech. I mean, this is something… I’ve never seen it!

I’ve never seen in any democracy, any candidate, no matter how radical, use this kind of language.
