É a chamada passagem de pasta para o novo executivo.

Ao longo dos últimos dias, o tempo foi para arrumar gabinetes nos vários ministérios e preparar terreno para quem chega.

Mas a transição do velho para o novo governo não termina com a posse dos novos ministros.

Até porque para fechar a composição do novo executivo, a posse dos novos secretários de Estado de cada um dos 17 ministérios só acontece no final da semana.

Até lá, o tempo é por isso de contactos mais ou menos informais entre os gabinetes do atual do novo executivo que na semana passada recebeu das mãos de António Costa um dossiê de 50 páginas com alguns dos projetos considerados mais relevantes e que estão ainda em desenvolvimento nas várias áreas governativas.

It’s called handing over the reins to the new executive.

Over the last few days, time has been spent tidying up offices in the various ministries and preparing the ground for the new arrivals.

But the transition from the old to the new government doesn’t end with the swearing-in of the new ministers.

Not least because to finalize the new executive’s composition, the swearing-in of the new secretaries of state for each of the 17 ministries won’t take place until the end of the week.

Until then, there will be more or less informal contacts between the offices of the current and the new executive, who last week received a 50-page dossier from António Costa containing some of the projects considered most relevant and which are still under development in the various areas of government.
